8Q - Keith, G3WRO will be active holiday style as 8Q7WR from the
Maldives (AS-013) from 24 January to 6 February. He will operate
SSB on 40-10 metres, possibly also on 80m. QSL via home call. [TNX

C6 - Look for Kevin, W1DED to be active as W1DED/C6A from Eleuthera (NA-
001), Bahamas on 15-21 January. QSL via LoTW, or direct to home
call.
DL_ant - Felix, DL5XL will be active again as DP1POL from the German re-
search station "Neumayer III", Antarctica (AN-016) starting around
20 January until early March. In his spare time he will operate
mainly CW, with some digimode and SSB. QSL via LoTW, or via DL1ZBO;
QSOs will also be uploaded to Club Log.
F - Special callsign TM26PVJ will be activated from 26 January to 4
February for the 26th "Percee du Vin Jaune", the festival celebrat-
ing the "Opening of the Yellow Wine" which this year will take
place at Arbois (Jura). QSL via F8GGZ.
HL - Ji, DS1TUW plans to be active as DS1TUW/2 from Paengnyong Island
(AS-122, WWL PM27ix) from 29 February until around 1 UTC on 3
March. He will operate CW, FT8 and some SSB depending on propaga-
tion, on 40-6 metres. He plans to enable Club Log's Live Stream "to
minimize the dupes", but "bear in mind there could be intermittent
internet disconnections". QSL via Club Log's OQRS (direct and
bureau), LoTW, or via home call.
I - Throughout 2024 ARI Fidenza will use a series of special callsigns
each representing a "keyword" that summarizes and characterizes the
content of a sentence from one of Guglielmo Marconi's many public
speeches: II4TENC (January), II4INTU (February), II4SUCC (March),
II4DETR (April), II4SEAS (May), II4RDFE (June), II4INNV (July),
II4BFRE (August), II4OTSR (September), II4VISN (October), II4BTFU
(November), II4FCGD (December). QSL via IQ4FE. Information about

I - A team from Slovenia (S51V, S52OT, S54W, S56N, S57DX, S57UN, S59A)
will be active as IG9/S57DX from Lampedusa Island (AF-019) on 20-28
January. Main activity will be during the CQ WW 160-Meter CW Con-
test; outside the contest they will be QRV on all bands and modes.
DXCC wise this one counts as Italy, but as African Italy in the CQ
Contests and the CQ DX Marathon. QSL via S57DX. [TNX NG3K]
OZ - Celebrating King Frederik X's succession to the Danish throne, spe-
cial callsign OZ24FX will be used by several operators on 14-21
January. QSL via LoTW, eQSL, Club Log's OQRS (direct and bureau),

UR_ant - Andrii, UT3UTQ has been active as EM1UTQ from the Akademik Ver-
nadskyi station on Galindez Island (AN-006), Antarctica since 9
January. Also stationed at Vernadskyi is Serhii, UW5EHR, who has
been QRV as EM1EHR since early December 2023. Both are members of
the XXVIII Ukrainian Antarctic Expedition, which is expected to
remain at the base until late March.
YB - Emmanuel, F5LIT expects to be active again as YB9/F5LIT from Bali
Island (OC-022) between 22 and 30 January. Usually he operates SSB
on 40-10 metres. QSL direct to home call; he plans to upload his
log to Club Log and LoTW.
YJ - Takio, JH3QFL and Mamoru, JH3VAA will be active as YJ0AA and YJ0MN
from Vanuatu on 4-11 February. They will operate FT8 on the HF
bands, and will also be on the Green Cube satellite. QSLs via LoTW,
or direct to JH3QFL.
ZF - Craig, KA8DSS will be active as ZF2NB/ZF8 from Little Cayman (NA-
016) on 20-26 January. He will operate SSB on 17, 15 and 10 metres.

DAYTON TOP BAND AND CONTEST DINNERS ---> The 34th Top Band Dinner will be
held on 17 May, followed by the 30th Contest Dinner on 18 May. The events
will take place at the Hope Hotel near Dayton, Ohio. Registrations for both

TX5S ---> The team departed from San Diego on 11 January at 20 UTC, destina-
tion Clipperton Island. During the crossing, both on the outward and return
legs, they will be active as N6WM/mm from various ocean grids, which will be
